There is no denying it, if you wander over to the meat section in your local grocer, we will lose on price. Lower prices come from incredibly high volumes of product and we and our local butchers can't compete in that realm. Our goal is to provide higher quality of meat, elimination of 3rd party dealers, and establish a direct farm to fork relationship, so you know exactly where you food comes from.

Agricultural Practices
While not certified organic, we endeavor to bring you all natural beef. No hormones or growth treatments are used in our cattle.
We are 2-3 years into the process of implementing regenerative practices in our farming and cattle raising processes. Some of those processes include; decreased reliance on synthetic fertilizers, managing cover crop mixtures to promote soil health and managed intensive grazing to control invasive plant species. Most of these projects require several years to transition fully to 100% regenerative. We are invested in regenerative ideals and have seen benefits in our farm as we have transitioned.
Our primary weapon against disease and sickness in our herd is quality feed, supportive mineral package, and low stress handling. However, cattle production is a risky enterprise and ranchers look for effective ways to minimize death loss and exposure to financial liability. Good animal husbandry requires that we make decisions that ensure quality lives for our animals. Vaccinations and minor antibiotic use against common diseases is an effective way to protect the individual cow and our herd from catastrophic loss.
We stringently adhere to any withdrawal period indicated for any vaccines or antibiotics. Our cattle that are sent to slaughter are inspected by USDA agents at the time of slaughter to prevent any distribution of contaminated meat.
To provide a consistent supply of meat to our customer base, we have seasons that we source animals from neighboring farms and ranches that have different calving seasons. We ensure all animals are raised and finished with methods that are cohesive to our husbandry ideals.
